registering in the above training program,
the participant
hereby abides to the terms and conditions of
California Institute of Nanotechnology ("CINANO")
REQUIREMENTS:
The CINANO Professional
Training Programs are designed to
meet the needs of business executives,
technical managers and academic professors
in order to further advance their
professional development in the high growth
industries in nanotechnology, biotechnology,
clean tech and related industries.
Participants of the programs must meet the following
requirements and agrees with the terms and
conditions:
1. Current Employment:
Participants are currently employed in the
field of high technology industry (nanotechnology,
clean tech,
biotechnology,
pharmaceutical, medical device,
semiconductor, electronics,
computer, chemical, aerospace, or related industry), or from
public education organizations such as
universities, community colleges and
technical institutes.
2. Prerequisite: The basic prerequisite requirements
include
a BS with 3 years of industry experience or
equivalent for
Business Re-Engineering; or a BS with at
least 10 years of experience or a PhD with at
least 5 year experience or equivalent for
“Train the Trainer”).
3. Participation in good faith: Participant agrees to
take part in the classroom training and
workshop in good faith and will communicate with the program organizers,
instructors and staff with constructive input and
feedback as to improve the quality of the
training program in the future. Participants
agrees to abide to the classroom best
practice and show courtesy to instructors
and other participants.
4. Registration fees must be received
before the commencement of the conference,
unless it is wavered in advance.
Registration fees may be subject to changes
without further notice
4. Rebates are only available to California
participants who have paid in full and
provided a letter
from the employer indicating an “in-kind”
(non-cash) contribution of at least
$1.875.00 in terms of the time spent to
attend the training program and travel
expenses.
5. Certificate of Accomplishment will be
conferred unto participants who have
completed the training program and have
submitted a mini-project proposal no later
than June 30, 2007. |
If you need to
cancel, full refunds will be paid on all
cancellations received before May 23, 2007.
After that date the following scale will
apply:
Up to May 23, 2007: 50% refund
Up to June 1, 2007: 25% refund
After June 8, 2007: 0% refund
All
cancellations must be made in writing and
subject to $200 administrative fee.
Registrations fees are nonrefundable after
June 8, 2007. Substitutes will be
considered per case-per-case basis, provided
that the substituting person also meets the pre-requisite requirement.

Hotel Reservation Cancellation Policy:
In order for the Association to obtain special group rate, we have purchased a block of rooms well in
advance. Our policy requires cancellation notice to be given
via email to
services@ianano.org by June 12,
2007. No refund will be
available after this date.
